Following the ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet syllabus

Imperial classical ballet is based on the French, Paris opera, ballet school teaching but over recent years has evolved to promote the English classical ballet style. It focuses on good technique and musicality. Here are Shauna Olivia Studios, we are aware that ballet is the origin of most dance styles we see today and encourage our students to take part in ballet as well as their other subjects. We believe that the technique learnt in ballet class, transfers over into other genres, therefore making them a well rounded dancer.
